It’s quite simple.
CNN is strongly anti-Trump, and has a long history of “inventing” news as it suits them.
I am not familiar with Rasmussen, but am quite open to believe hat they are equally biased, in the other direction.
.
If you want honest polls of the American political situation, you need to ask someone that does not have an axe to grind… I.E. You need someone that is not themselves pro- or anti-Trump, and is also not under influence from the American leadership.
Heh. Good luck with that!
I guess if you don’t bother to read the thread and ignore all all available evidence that this simple explanation makes sense.
In the past CNN has been a highly rated pollster with an ever so slight Republican lean. There’s no reason to believe that that has changed.
So, specifically, what do you believe is happening here. CNN claims that they hire SSRS (an outside firm) to do their polling. Are they lying? Do they just make up numbers and claim they came from SSRS? That seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen. Or does SSRS even exist?
Seriously, there are plenty of areas in journalism where bias, conscious or not, could very much influence what ends up on the page. But short of absolute full on fabrication, it’s hard for me to come up with any sequence of events in which bias on the part of CNN could result in poll results showing Trump’s favorability declining when in fact it is remaining steady or increasing.
Can you help me out here?
The phrase “the American leadership” is amusing to me. Who is that, anyway?
The Russian Leadership.
Everyone is strongly anti-Trump, except for the Fox News mainliners.
Cite away all these ‘inventions,’ and show how they’re anywhere close to the conservative fantasies that Fox sells daily. Tell me about Sean Hannity and how ‘unbiased’ and ‘fact-grounded’ he is.
That’s a strong statement. Care to back it up with actual cites? (Not the occasional corrected mistake, mind you – I want “invented news”).
