Heck, it’s also where you go to find the insurance executive you need to question, or subpoena the minister who’s there “undercover”.
That’s interesting. Those numbers aren’t exactly astronomical though. A full investigation would focus on the particular police department involved, as opposed to county-wide data.
Here’s another data point: Ms. Daniel’s lawyer Michael Avenatti found that the police officers involved posted a lot of pro-Trump image memes on their Facebook page. Click through for crowdsourced muckraking. https://twitter.com/HeerJeet/status/1018118505093160960
Could this be a case of retaliatory arrest, as in Lozman v. City of Riviera Beach?
Lozman v. City of Riviera Beach - Ballotpedia “Does the existence of probable cause defeat a First Amendment retaliatory-arrest claim as a matter of law?” Last month, the Supremes voted with an 8-1 majority to punt the issue.
Michael Cohen taped Trump talking about secret payments to a Playboy model.
That’s some fine spin there, Mr. Giuliani.
The recording was less than two minutes? Well golly, that’s got to prove…something.
Report says BBC running a story tomorrow about Trump hitting on teenage girls when he was in his 40s. That explains his Roy Moore endorsement.
Saw Michael Avenatti in TV today. He’s actually considering representing Michael Cohen. Now that would be a killer combination, since it looks like Cohen’s going to sing like a bird.
Didn’t they just run an article about him hitting on teenagers a week ago?
It’s probably a 10-part series. He’s been a serial predator for a long time.
Surely Avenatti can’t represent Cohen ethically?
Well from what I recall, the word was that Cohen had a compulsive habit of recording his conversations with Trump, so this is probably one of many that will surface.
Shows he’s not a total idiot.
Whether he realized it or not, Giuliani just authenticated the recording - and any others that Cohen may have in the future.
I know: “How could he not acknowledge something so obvious and easily proved?”
Yes, but how could Trump and his administration not acknowledge everything else he’s blatantly lied about so far?
Gaslighting and claiming that the recordings are bogus are his only way out. Giuliani just admitted that the tapes are real.
He probably did it so he could use it as blackmail in case Trump tried to stiff him. Cohen probably saw what Trump used to do to his contractors and used his recordings as his insurance policy.
Good point. And with any luck, Cohen will sing like a canary.
Doesn’t Donald also record people? I can’t wait until those tapes come out.
I don’t think that word means what he thinks it means…
I guess, come to think on it, I would be more surprised if Cohen hadn’t taken such precautions. It would mean someone who knows the kind of shit Il Douche is capable of finds him to be trustworthy and loyal.
Cohen’s attorney, Lanny Davis, appeared on Chris Cuomo’s CNN show this evening, and played the recording of the call between Cohen and Trump, in which they discussed the payment to Karen McDougal.
I’ll admit that I am not expert on the attractiveness of men, but I can’t help but wonder what on earth these women see in him. If I was a female, I would find him gross and would be unable to suppress my gag reflex long enough to service him. Is being rich (or at least appearing to be rich) enough to make women able to do things with such an unattractive, unintelligent, inarticulate, boorish piece of crap?
