Well, you know what you have to do to 11 million people before you deport them, right?
You have to put them in camps.
And if you can’t deport them?
… Slave labor?
… “Star of David”-esque markings?
… Zyklon B?

Why is that bad for Trump?
Current headline on CNN: “Mexican president disputes Trump’s account of meeting”.
I bet that there is someone, somewhere, who read that headline and thought, “I wonder how that could have happened?”. And that person can probably vote.
Name two places that Donald Trump could go and reasonably expect to not speak to a single potential voter.
How about 1) Mexico and 2) an African-American church in Detroit on Labor Day. Oh look! They’re both on Don’s schedule!
How is this guy even polling outside of the 20s?
So ya got Pena Nieto, president of Mexico, and Donald Trump, president of jack shit. Who ya gonna believe?
It’s good for Trump. It’s bad for the Republican nominee for President of the United States.
Bibi will do what Sheldon Adelson will tell him to do, as always.
I doubt Trump said anything that can’t be denied and/or spun.
Simple math: eliminate the voters for the opposition so that your 30-40 percent of the remaining percentage of election day voters is good enough to win.
How do you do that?
Remove minority voters from the rolls. Block them from voting. Poison Hillary’s image among all races so that blacks and latinos start asking “Is she really going to be our friend?” And convince about 75 percent of white voters that Hillary has terrorist connections and that she’s betraying her gender and race.
President Trump shouldn’t happen, but Brexit shouldn’t have happened either. Hitler shouldn’t have happened. Hell, George W Bush shouldn’t have happened - both times.
Well, in any case, any good Trump did himself in Mexico, he fixed last night.
No doubt. In dreamworld, the Democratic Party would send the Trump campaign a dozen roses and a “Thank You” card reading “Thank you for your generous donation of the next 3 generation of Hispanic voters, and re-affirmed African-American support of the Democratic Party.”
They can all three exchange hair advice.
Related to the Mexico trip because it deals with immigration, and isn’t worthy of a thread of its own:

Holy fuck! Republicans really do seem to take Adam Savage seriously when they reject objective reality and substitute their own. I literally laughed when I read that quote, and now my stomach is queasy at the thought of it.
Well, from the POV of Trumpians, ya got Nieto who is brown, and Trump who is white (actually pink). No contest.
The rest of us, also no contest.
I don’t know why the Mexican president thought this was a good idea.
Probably didn’t. Most likely delivered the invitations as a polite gesture, expecting an equally polite but indefinite acceptance.
Trump was the One politician that El Chapo wanted dead more than him…?
He may be pink from the collar down-- although I pray I never know for sure-- but his face skin is severely orange.
Actually I think that both statements are likely correct. I suspect first few seconds of the dialogue went something like this.
Nieto: Under no circumstances will the Mexican people pay for this cockamany wall you are proposing.
Trump: Let’s wait until I’m president before we discuss that. Boy don’t the Mexicans make some mean taco salads.
Yes, Nieto made it clear that he wouldn’t pay for the wall, but no, they didn’t discuss it. I don’t think that Trump ever said that the subject never came up.
In real life, “discuss” means a situation in which one party verbally relates information to another party, even if the other party doesn’t reply*. Even if both parties came with prepared statements, each of them can claim to have “discussed” with the other party the items contained in the prepared statements.
*“Sophia, clean your room.”
“Sophia, clean your room!”
“Sophia, did you hear me?”
“God, Dad, why do you have to be so hostile?”
See? Discussion!
Nieto had everything to lose by meeting with Trump.
I can’t quite come up with his motive behind the meeting.
I understand he left a standing invitation but it could not have been easier for him to make indefinite excuses for not following through with it. He’s running a country with a massive disapproval rating. Surely, “Not a good time right now, Donald” would have been easy enough to say.
But no. He laid out the welcome mat. Why the fuck did he do that? It only makes sense if there is more to be released from Mexico about the actual conversation that took place behind closed doors. And Trump knows it. Hence the hard line Immigration Policy speech last night. It’s a pre-emptive F.U. to Nieto.
