If you want to be looked at like you’re crazy, yes.
Dear liberals:
NOW you finally understand how many Republicans felt back in '08.
Maybe–just maybe–you’ll start being more magnanimous when you do win.
And by the way–now we can finally start reversing the damage that Obama has done to this country.
Dare I ask… such as?
I forget where I stole it from, but a quote I use when people get discouraged is:
“Think of what average intelligence is then remember that half the people in the world are dumber than that.”
On a serious note, democrats should recognize that the rust belt/middle America is mad about something real. They may not have that anger pointed in the right direction (although I’d argue that politicians are at least part of the issue) but recognize that the anger is real and warranted and the best move is to help them solve the problem as it seems they don’t really, as of yet, know where to look. If not, things will only get worse.
Or something…
You seriously feel you were opressed by Obama for 8 years. You really do, don’t you?
HOW???
Magnanimous? I sure as hell hope not. It’s apples and oranges. I’m sick of this notion that we have to be nice and listen and all this happy horseshit. We were coming away from Bush and Cheney and people who genuinely believe all Muslims are evil and should die and laugh at the casualty figures in our little wars over in the ME, and people who genuinely believe every singe ridiculous accusation about Obama, his wife and his children. He’s not a citizen. He’s a Muslim, he’s a communist, he’s a monkey, he’s a clone, he’s a reptile, he’s a satanist, he’s an alien from outer space, he has people assassinated, he’s going to steal your guns, he has secret underground reeducation camps, he’s about to invade this or that state, he’s about to declare martial law - I could go on and on and these people genuinely believe this shit, every bit of it, with their entire heart and soul and that piece of shit in their heads they call a mind.
No we don’t have to listen to them. They are not equal. You don’t have to be magnanimous with stupidity and filth like that. Who cares how Republicans “felt.” It is not equal. We don’t have to treat people like that as if their feelings are valid.
Oh, this is what you get when you call racists, racist. Better learn your lesson. No, we don’t. We don’t ever need to learn that lesson. No we don’t have to listen to your concerns when your concerns are that a black man is president and democrats are in the white house. That’s your only concern, and I hope we never “learn our lesson” about that.
I’ve been looking at the Cabinet selections, and thinking about the Plum Book (United States Government Policy and Supporting Positions – All the positions Trump can appoint people to) consisting of 7,000 position.
And I wonder, is Trump going to be the Warren G. Harding of the 21st century?
WTF does that even mean? That you think I’m lying and substituted “lack of experience” for “he’s a ni**er”. Or are you saying that if I didn’t support Obama then why would I vote for Trump. Thing is … how do you know if I voted for Trump? Hint: you may want to look up my posts over the last month where I said who I am voting for. Double hint: a former two-time governor ran.
Actually it can be just as simple as: lack of experience is a negative when it’s the other guy, when it’s ours he’s fresh and an outsider.
I’ve come to realize that there are a LOT of people in America who have lost their jobs (moved to China/Mexico) and these are the people with no future - so why not vote for Trump?
Maybe he might do something to get those jobs back? (So who cares what he did or how nuts he is! - Is their thinking.)
So I think those are the people who elected him. (But they need to look in the mirror as to the problem - which is unions and greed.)
And the companies that outsource aren’t greedy?
They ignored his own history of outsourcing.
He blames the Chinese for currency manipulation as to why he has his stuff made there. That doesn’t explain the other countries where his crap is made.
So as long as he can blame someone else, he won’t do a thing.
To go by all the panic on the Internet, you’d think we’d just elected Buzz Windrip to the White House. I’ll say it again, Trump is 90% blowhard- he isn’t even a serious dictator-wannabe.
Damages–several, but first and foremost Obamacare: one of the most blatantly unconstitutional pieces of legislation passed in a long time.
I personally wasn’t oppressed, despite Obama’s dismissive attitude towards people who hold my beliefs. The country as a whole was oppressed by regulatory overreach and unconstitutional laws.
Supreme Court said otherwise.
