Trump voters: explain yourselves

TonySinclair, there is Juanita Broaddrick, who claims that Hillary threatened her after she was raped by Bill. Buzzfeed has a very sympathetic interview with Broaddrick: https://www.buzzfeed.com/katiejmbaker/juanita-broaddrick-wants-to-be-believed?utm_term=.arj4JlLQW4#.ulLexLG8ne. Her claim against Hillary is not very convincing, though I can hardly blame Broaddrick for being raw and overly sensitive after that kind of trauma.

Bill Clinton probably raped Juanita Broddick. There’s no point denying that.

Hillary Clinton might make a good President; Trump absolutely will not.

We live in a world were sometimes you have to make unpleasant choices.

According to Juanita Broaddrick , the following happened:

Soon after, Broaddrick says, she ran into Hillary Clinton at a political rally Broaddrick had promised friends she would attend. Hillary shook her hand and thanked her for everything she had done for Bill. To Broaddrick, the gesture felt like a threat to stay silent.

This doesn’t sound that sinister to me. Not sure I would spin it as “how she treated the women who were victims of sexual assault,” but then I’m not a Trump supporter.

No, she has the freedom to do whatever she wants. Her not getting divorced is not a sign of weakness. And it would be the same with men.
I’m not criticizing Melania for either staying with Trump or dumping him starting Nov. 9. It is her marriage, it is her choice. Do you agree?

To me that sounds like Hillary didn’t know or had forgotten who Broaddrick was and gave her a standard expression of gratitude she likely extended to hundreds of Bill supporters.

What was that you said about irony?

My God.

And it also appears you don’t even know the definition of the word “irony”.

Idiot.

Fuck you.

What he’s saying about me could be said about him. Easily.

Good point.

Saying “Fuck you,” to other posters is a violation of the Pit’s language rules. Please avoid doing this in the future.

I do recall her referring to them as bimbos, and she called Gennifer Flowers “trailer trash”. Then we have her long-time dependable surrogate James Carville saying saying in reference to Paula Jones, :“If you drag a hundred dollar bill through a trailer park, you never know what you’ll find."

Here is more:

You might want to separate her from Carville, but he was clearly working as a Clinton surrogate back them. I just did a quick search. But the fact is that all of those girls were treated horribly. I expect YMMV.

Some woman claimed to have had an affair with her husband and all she did was [allegedly] call her trailer trash?

Yes, terrible. Someone fetch my fainting couch.

Will do.

Yes.

I just take issue with why Hillary (most likely) stayed with Bill - it was politically expedient of her to do so, assuming she wanted to do what she’s doing now. And I’d say she knew then that she was in politics for life - it helped for her to stay with him.

  • My cynical view of her. And yet another reason I’ll vote for Trump.

You are against her because she has devoted her life to politics and running the counrty, and so you are voting for some bonehead that just wants to be on TV?

Man, I’m all for a big shakeup of the politcal system, but not like this. Not like this.

I’m not sure how that lumpy quote got there…weird. Feel free to ignore that part.

Incidentally that happened to me earlier, too.

The T-shirt is $20. A month or so from now, I’ll likely be able to pick one up at Goodwill for $2. A month, that’s be about a week after the election. I’ll have sobered up enough by then.

Yes, to some extent.

Some guy at the Daily Kos says it better than I can

“It has become increasingly clear to me that HRC’s pursuit of the White House has less to do with the welfare of American Society and everything to do with one person’s relentless desire to obtain high office… From serving on WalMart’s board, to tolerating her husband’s infidelities, to trading government favors for Clinton Foundation donations, her rise has been marked by Machiavellian maneuvers.”

I couldn’t agree more.

No, I don’t think he only wants to be on TV, or sell water and ties, a characterization your side desperately wants to promote. I think he’s in it for the right cause - he believes we’re headed in a direction that he can change. And so far, he’s changing things. In a way I can live with.

Well, electing a woman as president certainly is a change, I’ll give you that.
