Who’s winning so far? What’s the score?
Trump won the election, so right now it’s like, 1 to nothing.
Trump is winning and it is not a good thing at all. The policies and the people he is putting in place are pretty awful.
Jim an ex-Reagan young Republican but a green one that is has been an independent since 2008.
Trump and Trump! What is Trump!?
[oops wrong thread]
Trump won the election, his party won both houses of Congress, and the economy is doing very well, having added 235,000 jobs which were above experts’ expectations, although I will say there is no definitive way to say Trump was responsible as there are a whole slew of other factors to consider. But, yes, I’d say Trump is doing pretty well.
Trump want to cut the Coast Guard budget to build his damn wall! I don’t call this going good!
Also a huge hit to the cost of flood insurance.
So, residents of both coasts will be paying for 45’s Texas’ Boondoggle too.
By “both coasts” you surely mean Mexico, right? I mean, that’s what the man promised. He’s a man of his word, after all…
stifled laughter
And to pay for the $50 million he’s cost U.S. taxpayers for his frequent vacations.
Actually, it’s more like Trump vs Trump. The biggest obstacle to Trump’s agenda has been the incompetence of the team he’s put in place. I’m not sure who’s winning that one.
Anti-Trump is winning. By 2020 it’ll be a wipeout defeat for most things Trumpish.
This based on what? Wishful thinking, I fear.
Who or what event is going to restore the public’s trust in objective news reporting*, or even help them distinguish between that and made-up garbage? Who or what event is going to restore our expectations that character and intelligence matter in our public leaders? Resistance may not be entirely futile, but it is not enough by itself. I just find it hard to imagine any potential Democratic leader(s) who will be able to restore even part of the damage already done. Money already rules, ineluctably, and the continued growth of its influence will survive anything short of an outright revolution. Sorry to be a downer, but Pollyanna is dead.
*Always relative, of course, but like the judge with smut, I know it when I see it.
Well, when 15 million lose their health insurance, they won’t believe that is a fake fact. I think by then there will be more evidence.
Obama’s fault.
Somehow
He got them insurance. If it hadn’t been for that, they wouldn’t have lost insurance.
Anti-Trump? There are people who don’t support Trump?
Huh, who knew?
The score is:
Trump: Too many
Anti-T: Not nearly enough
The comedy writers - same as with Nixon. ![]()
