I disagree that social acceptance of trans-gendered people is a ‘promotion’ of same. Why do you choose the word promotion and not the word acceptance when discussing this issue?
You’re using the word good to mean attractive in this context, I assume. Would you say that overweight people, women in particular, have been treated fairly by society in general? Are there any clear and obvious biases that you’ve noticed with respect to obese people, in general?
Everything is a widely encompassing term. What exactly do you mean when you say that feminism wants to change everything? Can you be more specific?
I’ve no doubt these types of things occur and I would believe you if you told us that you’ve experienced these things personally. I would go as far as saying that it isn’t fair or justified. The world can be a cruel place. Do you think that entitles those who have felt discriminated against to discriminate against others? Or would it be better to show empathy? After all, it costs nothing to give and means so much to receive.
Perhaps there is room enough for caring about the trans-gendered, the overweight, and those of short stature. Does it help your cause to discriminate towards others just to bring attention to the injustices you’ve suffered?
