Trump's Cabinet of Curiosities

Trump is reportedly considering Carly Fiorina for Director of National Intelligence.

Makes sense. The intelligence community uses computers. And Fiorina knows compu-

Ah fuck it.

She does have expertise in cutting back on staff.

She has the power to affect even the dead. I understand that both Hewlett and Packard have been rolling over in their graves for some time now.

I think that was the department he couldn’t remember when he said he’d eliminate three… :dubious:

You’re right, of course. That’s ironic. Maybe he’ll forget to show to work, err gut his department.

Tillerson gets State, unless the Kremlin picks him up on waivers.

I dunno. I think Republicans are going to be very hesitant to vote on this one. This might become a referendum on Trump’s coziness with Putin.

Maybe. Can’t help but notice suddenly Mitch The Turtle has switched his emphatic position as regards the whole Russian thing. Yesterday(?) it was all partisan nonsense, nothing to see here, move along and then bang! a grave threat yadda blah yadda blah.

That, coupled with his reported resistance in the first instance gets me to thinking he’s afraid the evidence will be released, as well as his firm refusal to dignify it. His ass is on fire and his head is catching. Don’t recall such a thorough change of perspective since Saul of Tarsus fell off his donkey. So, I see him scrambling to get away from those positions.

My bold.

Couldn’t happen to a more deserving guy.

And by getting Romney to publicly praise him, he’s now silenced one of his loudest critics in the GOP. Winning!

Are you tired of all the winning yet?

I don’t think we’ve heard the last from Romney. I imagine he will seek revenge on Trump.

So will he be in charge of closing it down?

It’s like that landslide electoral college win—even though they haven’t actually voted yet.

Re Romney’s public shaming - I knew that’s what Trump was doing, felt it in my bones, and couldn’t get a certain political cartoon out of my mind; the one of Trump driving around in a limo with Romney strapped to the top in a dog carrier.

Sorry … can’t remember the artist, or the caption.

If anyone wants an example of the inner workings of this sociopathic showman’s head, Romney’s humiliation is a shining example.

On the morning news, here in Houston, Perry’s Oops Moment was mentioned when the newscasters told of his appointment.

Romney himself bears some of the blame. What I’d like him to do now is publicly apologize for auditioning to be a part of the incoming criminal administration and double down on the nasty things he said about Cheeto before.

You know who Trump reminds me of? Andrew Johnson. During Reconstruction getting he was more concerned with humiliating people than what was best for the country.

This one? Riding With Mittens – CLAYTOONZ

It was Gail Collins in the New York Times. Mitt had done this to the family dog when the family went on vacation. Gail mentioned this is every one of her columns during the Presidential campaign.
