Trump's Cabinet of Curiosities

It was evident to me, despite the awkward phrasing.

Yes, just recently she was saying that we all have to bow down to Trump. I would guess that he approves.

All hail Caesar!

You left out “qualified”, which she’s not.

Senate Foreign Relations Committee voted 11-10 to advance Tillerson’s nomination. With Marco Rubio’s support, and no known Republican Senator in opposition, it looks likely that he’ll be confirmed, probably next week.

I’m only vaguely familiar with the position and the person. What qualifications would one normally expect for a person in this position?

I’m not a Trump supporter. But whiny little hypocritical bitches like you reflexively throw a fit at whatever our ‘special’ President does. Your stupidity is the yin to Trumps yang. Omorossa is qualified to be a spokesperson based on her on camera experience and intelligence. Please go back to your trolling of the religious. And take your blood pressure meds.

What’s nice is how folks like you were so supportive of Obama when he appointed second rate reality show contestants to government positions.

This is a warning for personal insults. If you feel you must, the Pit is right around the corner.

This is a note that this is bordering on personal insults as well. Please dial back the name calling.

Mike Pompeo was confirmed as head of the CIA, 66-32. Republicans felt deceived by Schumer when the vote was delayed on Friday because of objections by Democrats. That’s the sort of trick that probably only works once.

If there’s one thing the Republicans won’t abide, it’s delays in confirming the President’s appointments. We’ve lost two whole days when Pompeo could have been working hard on the new waterboarding guidelines.

HAHAHAHAAAA HAHAHA HAHAHAHA!

Oh my, that’s rich. Republicans complaining about delays and evasions in confirming Presidential appointees.

And Pompeo had to wait a whole two days for his confirmation! Oh, poor baby. No wonder poor John Cornyn is so traumatized and sad. :frowning:

The violation of trust alleged by Republicans isn’t because there were delays, but because they reached a compromise with Schumer (reschedule a hearing in exchange for a Friday vote on Pompeo) that he subsequently violated.

It’s probably not a big deal, but if the filibuster gets nuked for SCOTUS nominations later this year, I imagine Republicans will say that things like this were contributing factors.

I’m sure they will. After eight years of gleefully exploiting every trick they could think of to obstruct, deflect or delay any action of the Obama administration, I have no doubt that Republicans in Congress are now going to start treasuring up any slights or snubs from Democrats like highschoolers counting “likes” on Facebook, in order to accuse them of “betrayal” or “unethical” behavior.

As I said about the Trump Administration in the other thread, the Republican Congress seems to have absolutely zero self-awareness concerning hypocrisy and double standards.

I’m not sure anyone in Washington has much self-awareness concerning hypocrisy and double standards. At the very least, it’s the norm in that town.

Trump’s Cabinet So Far Is More White and Male Than Any First Cabinet Since Reagan’s

Pathetic, but expected. The incomprehensible appointment of retired surgeon Ben Carson to head HUD reeks of a “hey, we need a black guy or they’ll call us racist” move. Too late, Cheeto, everyone knows your a sexist bigot. The problem is your lap dog followers love it.

“Oh teh noes, he picked too many white men!”

I suspect you’ll see some Democrat Senators vote for most of them.

You missed the point. He didn’t appoint too many white men. The racist, sexist cunt chose a cabinet that reflects the fact that he’s a racist, sexist cunt. It’s a small sample size after all

Sounds like an evaluation for the voters to make, again … in 4 years.

I apologize…I thought it was the pit. No excuse for not being more careful.
