No it fucking well isn’t. On the list the white house ITSELF prepared to show all those terrorist attacks, ONLY 9 out of 90 terrorists were from the “banned country list” The top two countries that supplied terrorists on THE White House list? France and the United States.
So the Whitehouse released a list of “major terrorist attacks targeting the West” that they think provides great support for their ban. Aside from the fact that some of these are completely made-up bogus crap (for example, couple in Australia killed by non-terrorist dude), it is very interesting when one looks at where the people who committed these terrorist attacks are from:
Of 90 Terrorists on this list, 9 are from countries on the “banned” list.
Here is where these terrorists are from:
France: 16
United States: 13 (11 citizens, 2 permanent residents)
Tunisia: 6
Libya: 5
Bengal: 5
Saudi Arabia: 4 (they missed some here… what was that attack again?)
Syria: 3
Algeria: 3
Indonesia: 3
Australia, Afghanastan, Bosnia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Russia, Turkey: 2 each
Chad, Egypt, the Emirates, Iran, Morocco, the Palestinian Territories, Pakistan, Sweden, and the United Kingdom: 1 each
Iraq: 0
Somalia: 0
Sudan: 0
Yemen: 0
This is the list that the White House offered as PROOF THAT THEIR BAN WAS NEEDED.

To be fair the the assholes, I thought that list was meant as proof of terrorist attacks that the media was “covering up” (later equivocated to “underreporting”). Granted, it failed at that, as well, since most (all?) of the attacks mentioned were reported on. But intending to prove one thing and instead disproving two things is par for the course for this administration.
I was waiting for this, the first time Trump got his hands slapped by checks and balances. For the first time since the shithead took office, we’ve popped our heads up out of the sea of blood and taken a glorious breath. Hopefully there will be many more to come.
I heard on the news that the 9th appeals had rejected the gov’t’s argument that the president’s authority on immigration was “unreviewable.” That seems really shocking to me. The idea that the lawyers would argue for a fundamental break in the checks and balances of the US political system is well shocking. I had not heard that they had made this argument before the result came out. Again, the fact that they would even ask for this is very concerning.
I heard that Steve Bannon prefers a remix called A Paler Shade of White.
Regarding today’s court decision: Ah HAHAHAHAHA! Take THAT, Trump, you fucking steaming pile of horseshit. Fuck YOU, fuck your whore wife and fuck your whore daughter! Fuck your entire fucking filthy family along with that cunt Conway and asswipe Bannon.
Didn’t the court also tell him they get to use his public statements as evidence of what he’s trying to pull? Given Trump’s complete inability to STFU on topics of which he has no valid knowledge, that’s going to be one mighty busy court.
And I’m sure the Trumpites are bitching about California and Californians screwing the country when (a) it’s a federal court which covers a lot more than California, and (b) it’s Trump screwing the country.
I believe this is correct.
Basically, if you campaign on banning Muslims, and tweet about how you’re going to ban Muslims, and instruct one of your minions to find a way to ban Muslims without it looking like you’re banning Muslims…
Then you can’t really expect to use a defense of “I never meant to ban Muslims, only people from specific countries that happen to be majority Muslim and where I don’t have business interests”
Apparently, nor can you use the defense of “This court is not the boss of me”.
Nor can you use “I have secret information about the bad people, but I’m not going to tell you what it is, trust me”
