Trump's first 10 days, how do you view him?

That’s also what his voters voted for. Trump’s incompetence and impulsiveness was on full display throughout the campaign. There was every reason to expect exactly what’s been happening since his inauguration.

Trump is very easily manipulated. Bannon will simply make Trump think he’s making his own decisions.

What exactly would that be? He has announced he was going to do some things that he promised, while ignoring other promises, but it remains to be seen whether he will accomplish anything he promised. So far the main thing he has done was implement a travel restriction, in the most incompetent way possible, that has done zero to make the US safer while provoking an enormous mess.

About the only way he could have done all the things he promised in that short time would require an absolute takeover of the military. Thankfully, that hasn’t happened. Yet.

But do you deny that he has quickly put into motion, with the apparent intention of following through, all those promises?

He has said he’s going to do those things, but his promises are no more realistic than they were on the campaign trail. He’s made no effective move to deter terrorism either domestically or internationally, but conversely has provided great recruiting PR for ISIS. He’s provided no real strategy for either building the wall with Mexico (or getting Mexico to pay for it) or for bringing back American jobs.

Something I’m waiting to hear a single trump supporter comment about is why they think it’s Ok that Saudi Arabia was left out of the travel ban. Someone cannot honestly say that this is about keeping out terrorists when most of the terrorists have been from Saudi Arabia.

Can any trump supporters admit to the fact that Saudi Arabia was left out because trump has business there and including them in the ban would be detrimental to him? If you can admit that, what does that say about the ban? If you can’t admit that, what does it say about you?

To be totally fair to the son of a bitch (because we’re better than he is, god damn it) excluding Saudi Arabia might make sense because a whole lot of American businesses are linked to them economically. The whole country depends on Saudi oil, and thousands of people travel to and from there on business that’s important to U.S. interests.

Yemen, not so much.

It isn’t solely his own personal self-interest, but that of the whole country.

The guy is still a grotesque baboon; a week’s advance notice of the travel ban would have avoided a whole shit-ton of serious problems.

My opinion of him after 10 days?

Well, I think Sean Penn’s well thought out piece sums up the Trump Legacy nicely.

Do you really expect us to sit through a video?
At least post a summary.

Sean is very well spoken, but also concise and on point as usual.
If he were here and posting in this thread, I doubt he’d change a word.

Today I watched a crazy man – literally crazy, something was going on with him – tear off his shirt in the street and jump up and down and yell. I would have voted for him over our Clown-in-Chief.
