Trump's new cabinet

That’s….quite a story. Is she at all qualified for the job as SG?

If another four years of even worse Trumpian Stupidity isn’t enough to bring back the D party, these pardons, or lack thereof, will have essentially zero effect. Biden should do what he can to protect these people, who have done no wrong, from the insanity that is Trump supporters.

She’s personally loyal to Trump, which is the most important qualification.

Guns go through drop tests. They don’t fall on beds and fire.

She either killed him, or it did fall on the bed, and she hit the trigger when picking it up. It’s a bad idea to store a gun in condition 0.

Moderating:

Please drop the sidebar about Biden’s pardons. This thread is about Trump’s cabinet. Not how the D’s can get back in power or anything else.

In all fairness to her, having scissors, a tackle box and a handgun above one’s sleeping area is something you’d only expect to see in a Final Destination movie.

As Shemp would say, “EBBBB”.

Hegseth is going to swear his oath office to Trump.

Or a Saw movie.

Well, she aims to do her best.

Remember how Trump was so bad that liberals found themselves siding with the likes of Jeff Sessions, John Bolton, Mitt Romney, and Liz Cheney??

The rest of the new rogues’ gallery is so bad that I’m starting to cheer the Marco Rubio pick for SecState.

And he’s still 10 … 15 yards behind the Basic Human Decency Line of Scrimmage.

Decency is for losers.

No.

She supposedly was a manager of the urgent care chain, but was also a line doctor when Trump appointed her.

According to Trump’s appointment statement, she is double board certified, but my search only shows a family medicine certification.

She was on FoxNews for a while, but that ended.

However, if back at age 13 she was able to fool the police, that’s a Trump-administration-related qualification. Think how much better at misleading people she would now be.

But I do not mean to accuse her of murder. However unlikely is the story she gave the police, the parricide idea is also low probability. I’d hope it was well investigated at the time, and maybe it was.

To be honest, Doctor Oz, with his television show background, might be better for the Surgeon General post than for the CMS Administrator post.

Re Dr. Oz, the main part of the job is overseeing the Public Health Service, including entities like the Indian Health Service. While being good at making public statements is a plus, I think that is a small part of the job.

Googling, the “Public Health Service Commissioned Corps”, which is what the Surgeon General commands, is something like 6,000 or more uniformed medical officers, so a fairly big organization. CMS is about the same headcount but I would argue its responsibility is far larger.

Six years ago, there were concerns about Tulsi Gabbard so serious that the Ds and Rs were both concerned she would leak info about a Syrian defector to the Assad regime.

If a 13-year-old girl intentionally shoots her father, chances are she had a good reason.

Very true.

Wasn’t the orange biomass once musing about replacing generals with football coaches? One of those strategic geniuses as Defense Sec. might be the ticket.
