I mean, a moderator doesn’t exactly write code or maintain servers.

Maybe the board will not stop, there was a short period when it said the board was down for admin reasons.
We may not even have one long continuous shutdown, just a few much shorte ones over the period in question.
Those damn interruptions happen every night.
