It was posted in here a while back, I can’t find it in my subscribed threads but I’m sure I posted to the subject.
Its one of a series of games, sort of off beat puzzle games, this particular one had you in control of an island, where you could have the inhabitants study scientific and engineering disciplines.
According to how you chose to devote time to study of these subjects, your island would flourish in varying ways.
While we’re on the topic, I’m curious: is there an actual methodology behind that game? Or is it just a matter of experimenting until you find some neat progressions?
You can sort of see which ones gotta go early and which ones you can choose late. For example, if you choose Civil Engineering, and at the end of the game it gets to level 6 and still hasn’t maxed out, you know you gotta choose it pretty early. Similarly, if you keep an eye on them, you can see that some of them max out after only a couple levels. These, obviously, need to be built later in the game. I still run through a whole lotta trial and error doing it this way. In fact, I usually just look up the solution because I can’t stands it no more not knowing what the end result looks like.
Reading up after failing to max out all the levels, it appears you can’t max them all, unless I’m missing a walkthrough. There’s supposedly a link between the technologies, like chemistry and electricity adding together to make fuel cells for the little car.
