I can’t recall whether I’ve posted about this before, and since the changeover, it’s hard to find old threads.
I’m trying to identify a Dennis the Menace comic book issue I had as a child in the early-mid 1970s.
It was a comic book with a series of short stories. It wasn’t a collection of panels from newspapers and was in normal comic book panel-by-panel storytelling format, not single panel jokes.
All I can mainly recall is that it featured a sequence in which Mrs. Mitchell was teaching Dennis table manners, including how to eat soup properly. Dennis wanted a small spoon that would fit into his mouth. But his mother explained that he wasn’t supposed to put the spoon into his mouth, but just sip from the edge.
Anyone have any good ways of identifying this issue? I’d look for it on E-bay or something if I could identify the publisher (Gold Key, maybe?), date, issue number, etc.
Thanks!
