I’m so sorry to hear about this. It’s hard to imagine the boards without her, especially after all the work she put into the transition.
I had the same problem, so I just temporarily turned off my VPN when visiting the site. Is that difficult in your setup? I know it can be configured to block all traffic when the VPN is not active.

I can confirm that your information about her age is correct. She was 65 years old. Just a couple years older than me.
I’m still in major shock this morning. I lost a friend that used to just call me on the phone to see how I was doing.

I was just talking to her the other day! We were sort of in mid-conversation and I was expecting to hear from her Now this

My first take - that can’t be true! - sadly, it is.
I joined in 2001. Can’t think of one day when I didn’t either read or think of the Dope since then. She was the engine of this board. She kept it going and was always there. First Lynn now Tuba. A great loss. So sad.

I never met Tuba Diva in person but chatted with her a couple times over e-mail years ago. A wonderful and caring person whose warmth will be missed by many at the Dope. It has not been the best year. I know nothing about her life or family; hope they are coping.
She leaves a hole here that will never be filled.
What was relayed to me was that her mother went to check on her after not hearing from her for ~24 hours, and she was gone, so it was apparently sudden. So incredibly sad. No word as to possible cause.
Absolutely stunned. This is such bad news. She will be sorely missed.
