Inasmuch as Japanese cars in general – and Toyotas in particular – are renowned for their build quality, it should be obvious that I’m not trying to be offensive. And anyway, it’s just a contraction of “Japanese”, unlike far worst racist slurs going around for various ethnicities that have offensive connotations. Also, I love sushi!
