**Spiff **for one.
Put **Fetchund **and me down for tentative 2. I think I’ll probably come, and Fetch probably won’t but I can’t quite guarantee either.
Bumpity bump.
Put TheKid and I on the list. She’s not sure what she’ll eat - she’s not one for trying new things - but she wants to meet y’all.
Two days, folks.
me for 1.
I’m still on. I just got an oil change for the trip, and had some work done on the car too.
Since we’re still under the 17 that the reservation is for, can I add Mrs. Spiff to the list?
If that’s O.K., then it’s Spiff, party of two.
Hey, that’s 17! Wow. Any latecomers, tell me now so we can add you to the reservation. We’d love to have you. Hey, where’s **'luci, kneepants, imthjackaz? ** Have they checked in? Anyone invite them?
I’ll PM them and the couple people upthread who mentioned they were coming, but haven’t confirmed yet.
All those WI people can mosey over, too.
If anyone in the Madison area is inerested in a ride up tomorrow afternoon, and back sometime Sunday morning, I have space.
Also, anyone up for a nice breakfast Sunday morning, or some other laid back inactivity before I get on the road. IOW, no church, no jogging.
We won’t be able to make it this time.

Maybe we can set up another PorkDope this summer, the last one was a blast.
Well miss you. Say hi to your son. He seemed like a nice, bright kid.
I missed the posting last month and since I noticed it 2 weeks ago I’ve been trying to figure out a way to get out of another commitment. I’ve determined that marital discord would result. Rats! It would be nice to meet the people behind the screen names I’ve come to like and respect.
Have fun. I’ll be at a different restaurant in St. Paul and send good thought your way. Is anything happening with the possible Sunday morning breakfast Boyo Jim mentioned?
I’m going to an Indian buffet today for lunch. Sorta makes an Indian dinner unnecessary. Have fun everyone!
That’s your excuse? Does your buffet have 16 other Dopers as a side order?
I would suggest something specific but I know absolutely nothing about that area. And I suppose figuring something out over dinner won’t be of help to you.
Hmmm… marital discord. Well, you can solve that by dumping your wife and coming to dinner! No marriage, no marital discord.
You’re welcome!
While that worked great for my first marriage, I really don’t want to try that solution this time around. Thanks anyway!
If you do decide on a place for breakfast (either just yourself or with others), could you please post something or send me an e-mail tonight? I will check when I get home and would gladly head over on Sunday if I know a place and time.
Have fun!
Maybe someone wlse will be able to do that. My computer is a desktop box and doesn’t travel well.
How much do you want to spend? The absolute best Sunday brunch in town (IMHO) is in the basement of the St. Paul Hotel. But it costs a lot. You can always get breakfast worth eating at Mickey’s Diner.
Only a block or two from the India Palace is the Good Earth, they have decent breakfasts. Or, you could wander over to Dinkytown and stand in line at Al’s. My favorite local breakfast place was the Parkview Cafe, but the last time I drove by they had a closed-and-out-of-business look about them. The Highland Grill is good (and I’ve heard that their corporate partner, the Longfellow Grill, is also good).
Obviously, you won’t read this before we meet for dinner, but someone else might and might have something to suggest.
What name is the party reserved under?
ETA, I know it’s probably too late to get an answer. I think I’ll be able to recognize enough people by now, though.
We hope you had a great time - we didn’t get out of the agility trial until 5:40, and I was covered in dirt, smelling of dog, horse and salmon. No time to get home and get cleaned up - in fact, no real ability to get there in time at all.
Tell stories!
