My daughter and son-in-law had twin boys by in vitro. They were born 6 weeks premature due to my daughter, a tiny 100 lb thing when not pregnant, got sick with high blood pressure. They are all fine now 16 months later. The boys have been walking; are even starting to talk; and more importantly, sleeping through the night sometimes!
Woo hoo! Glad to see everything worked out! I’m so happy fo…wait…(checks username)…we are so rude here…

They are so very different people but fiercely loyal to each other. It’s a bond I can’t quite relate to, obviously different than the bond I have with my siblings.
I wrote a post yesterday but the hamster must have ate it.
The due date is late November. We are both excited though my wife is feeling icky. There have been shots and meds and it hasn’t been pleasant for her, poor thing.
They will be named Dirk Andrew and Donald Owen but go by Andrew and Owen. The names are a mix of their grandfathers names.
Their room is pretty much done. Now it is just wait and take care of the wife.
This has been way hard. The meds have been hard on my wife and it has been stressful as all hell.
Just food for thought. If they are going by their middle names, why not make the middle name the first name? They will otherwise spend their entire lives correcting the system that demands first name middle initial. Which is more and more pronounced in the modern interwebs age.
(I go by my middle name, and it is a ROYAL pain in the ass)
