Twitter bans MyPillow corporate account after Mike Lindell uses it to circumvent personal Twitter ban

Not to mention the four police officer suicides in the months that followed.

I didn’t know about these suicides. Yeah, they probably too.

Strong disagree. Oh, not that they and the suicides aren’t victims fully worthy of sympathy, but the Capitol forces are at least some what prepared for the expectation of risk as part of their duties, and as for he insurrectionists, fuck them.

The biggest victims and probably the most numerous are all those killed by COVID despite their own best efforts because those around them couldn’t be bothered with any efforts to mitigate it with Cheetos snickering support.

And yes I know he made occasional half assed efforts to drag it back for which I still give no credit.

Back to the thread subject though - sure Mike has bought into a manipulative religion ( both Trump and Christian nationalism IMHO) but he gets no more sympathy from me than I give any other fanatic: pity they weren’t wiser.

Yeah, well, and democracy.

Somehow, it has survived. Barely.

Just wait for the upgrade: Trumpocracy! It’s shiner and newer! Gold accents, plenty of Jesus, and no pesky rules!

(No guarantee of Trump, Jesus or gold is made or promised. Usual fees apply)

Let’s get something straight here, in case anyone’s confused (and I think some people are). There was only one person killed during the Jan6 Insurrection. The count of 5 that is frequently bandied about includes the 4 police officer suicides.

ETA: correction, only one was deliberately killed. Ashley Babbitt. One died from being crushed and two died of ostensible natural causes: stroke and heart attack.

Wasn’t it one police officer that died and that crazy woman that got shot?

Thanks for the correction. I only knew the five victims figure and didn’t know that it included the later suicides. In any case, five pointless deaths too much.

Sorry, my correction was wrong. See my update to my post.

No worries. I still consider all these people victims of Trump.

Per Wikipedia: Babbitt, Sicknick, Boyland (overdose, originally ruled as being trampled), Greeson & Philips (heart disease, both).

And the hits just keep on coming:

The cybersecurity expert who took on election conspiracy theorist Mike Lindell and was awarded $5 million from an arbitration panel has asked a federal court to force Lindell to pay up, according to court documents obtained by CNN.

“It’s kind of put up or shut up time for Mr. Lindell,” said Zeidman’s attorney, Brian Glasser, co-founder of Bailey & Glasser LLP. “If Lindell is not a complete fraudster, he should have the ability to pay.”

Lindell had already asked a state court to vacate the arbitration panel’s decision, according to the new filing from Zeidman’s team. Lindell has not yet made any payments to Zeidman.

From EddyTeddyFreddy’s link:

Oh, who said there were going to be conditions??

I think it will be super easy for Crackpipe Mike to show he is indeed a complete fraudster and avoid these fines.

 lol

I recently noticed Antenna TV runs “Barney Miller” between 9 & 10 PM so I started watching that instead of “Laugh-in” on Z Living.

The delusional huckster’s commercial for “MyPillow 2.0” turns up at least once during that hour of the old 1-2. I never see the huckster anywhere else.

Barney Miller is a comedy, so that commercial fits right in. Would work better on Laugh-in though…

Has anyone actually tried a MyPillow? I almost did until he attached himself to Trump. Now I’ll probably get one of those cube pillows.

It’s just shredded foam rubber. No, not even before he became a CFSG-remora.

Yes, I tried one, they used to carry them at Bed Bath and Beyond (this was years ago). It was just awful, and I took it back after the first night (fortunately, BBB accepted returns on these even though they couldn’t be re-sold; I think they were guaranteed in some way).

Barney Miller has been showing here on what I think is a regional nostalgia channel, and all the commercials seem to be for bogus “exercise” devices, where the device does all the work, and all that happens is that it moves your feet and legs a little bit. No bogus pillows, at least so far.
