I’ve just been messing around with Twitter for the first time. I’ve noticed that whilst my replies to other people are showing up in my timeline and posts, only one of them appears to actually be visible from the replied tweet. This doesn’t seem to be consistent with how the instructions describe replies? Am I doing something wrong here? I’ve checked that my account setting aren’t set to private.
I’m definitely not a twitter expert, but are you sure you’re sending replies, not private messages by mistake?
If I’m understanding correctly, your replies don’t show up beneath the Tweet you’re replying to on the right-side pane?
I suspect that that would be a problem with whatever app you’re using, if any, and barring that, you’re typing “@ceciladams blah blah” instead of using the “Reply” link on their Tweet.
I’ve definitely been hitting the reply button, and I can see them displayed properly as replies in my tweet history, they just (mostly) aren’t visible with the other replies once you click on the tweet I replied too.
