Though I’m not sure the situations are comparable; for some reason, DT gives off an air of utter sincerity. If 2.5 Inches had had that, I doubt he would’ve been suspended.
True enough - I can believe that DT is a jerk who knows he’s a jerk and doesn’t pretend otherwise. 2.5 was trying to sound like some kind of constitutional expert and doggedly maintained the charade even after being called on it.
He’s been warned before. So have I. Lots of people sometimes lose their shit in GD when they feel passionate about something or get needled - doesn’t make them trolls or even jerks, IMO.

Still, some people think it was a legitimate discussion. And it earned him no warning. Marley23 didn’t even mention it in his announcement of his suspension. So, see, shitface, one can be as grossed out by what you describe as you are (and I’m sure we’re not the only ones). So you’ll have to share your Outrage Medal. I only asked for that particular info because there was a claim made by Colibri as to the unanimity of opinion among the mods that 2.5 was a troll. Marley23 was nice enough to try to shed some light on the issue, but his posts kept pointing to the issued of his being suspended. Two different issues. I phrased it the question as I did to make it clear the calculation that Colibri would have to go through to make the statement he did. I even said I’m willing to drop this, but if Marley23 or any other mod wants to be helpful and shed more light, they too would have to go through that calculation.
And what is so private about the number of mods? Or the percent that were asked? Or the percent that opined one way or another? I could see if I were asking for names, but I wasn’t. I just wanted the same type of information regarding 2.5’s alleged trollery as had already been shared concerning his suspension.

One of your fellow mods, Colibri, made a comment that went directly to his alleged trollery, and offered as proof, the mods’ opinions as to that charge. He admitted that his claim was incorrect as Frank plainly stated that he did NOT view 2.5 as a troll. You share now that you (the mods) “did not argue” about whether he was a troll. Does that mean it was not discussed, or that there was unanimity. And if it was unanimous, where all the mods party to the discussion or was their just unanimity with those that did discuss it?
And just to cut off a possible point of confusion: jerk does NOT equal troll, right.

Later on, I officially warned him for trolling, based on the fact that he never or almost never agreed with anyone, instead only popping up in other’s threads to disagree. Later yet, I decided he was a jerk, based on his consistently aggravating OPs. I don’t blame anyone for being confused, let alone someone like you whose brain cell hasn’t divided yet.
