Two governors in one movie...before?

With the lattest polls showing that Arnold Schwarzenegger is probably going to be the next governor of the great state of California, I got to thinking about his great movie, Predator.

Predator had another “actor” in the movie, Jessie Ventura, who after he was splattered by the alien, went on to become the governor of the state of Minnesota.

My question is: If Arnold becomes governor, is there any other FICTIONAL movie in which two or more of the actors became governors.

This is (obviously) for all of the Reagan buffs out there.

Are there any actors-turned-governors apart from Reagan and Ventura? This article from CBSNews claims Reagan was the first actor-governor. Unless there are movies with cameos by other real-life politicians alongside one of those, I’m not sure you’ll find any answers to the OP. Apart from Forrest Gump, which featured George Wallace and Ronald Reagan in archive footage.

What if you include Senators? My former U.S. Senator is now the D.A. on Law and Order, but he has been in several movies, like Die Hard II. Fred Thompson.

I’m sure there have been others, but I can’t think of any off the top of my head. Of course if you open it up to Representatives the pool gets even bigger (did Sonny Bono make any movies?)

If you include senators, there is This is the Army, featuring George Murphy and Ronald Reagan.

Oliver Stone’s Nixon features archive footage of one-time Govs. Earl Warren, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George Wallace, Edmund Brown, and Ronald Reagan, at least.

Besides Predator (1987)? Sure, there’s also The Running Man (1987) and Batman and Robin (1997).

For senators, there’s the film Dave which also has Arnie in it but since Arnie and the senators are playing themselves, I guess it doesn’t count.

Did you take a look at that cast-list for The Running Man? The casting director must have been on acid or something…“I know, let’s have a movie with Professor Toru Tanaka…and Dweezil Zappa!”

And Jim Brown of the NFL hall of fame, Mic Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac, and of course Richard Dawson of Family Feud.
