I would like to get some of your drugs.
I totally agree that trump will decalre for 2028 real soon. Maybe even before the 2024 election.
The rest? Not even close IMO. YMMV of course.

Time for a new amendment to the Constitution. You have Term Limits, now you need Try Limits. If you’ve tried and failed to be elected twice in a row, you’re permanently barred from ever running again. We can call it the “Take the Hint” amendment.
Maybe this is a specifically American definition of “left,” but what makes you say this? To me they seem quite content in the center: a tiny bit to the left in some areas, a good bit to the right in others. They’re to the left of the Republicans, but that’s about it. I don’t know how reliable people find Political Compass, but here’s their graph: The Political Compass

It is often asserted that the Democratic Party is either moving to a far-left platform or already there, despite the vast majority of their policies being both fairly centrist and corporatist.
The observation can be explained by the phenomenon of political parallax; the Republicans are moving further and further right faster and faster, so the Democrats appear to be moving to the left in relation.
Yeah. Probably the “most left” policy they could realistically succeed with is universal medical coverage, which would only make them as left as Canada, or really, almost any other county in the world.
The policy the Right most hates, that the left seems to be fairly attached to, is simple: don’t be beastly to non-white people.
Somehow that seems a bridge way too far for an awful lot of Fascist-Americans.
AOC will be lucky to not be primaried out, let alone anything higher.
Also, when somebody is a fascist or near-fascist who has a Manichean view of politics where the only two political categories are “Our Side” and “The Far Left”, the Far Left becomes very, very large.
