Two questions on thread subscriptions

  1. Is there a way to subscribe to a thread with instant email notification on Tapatalk?

  2. Can guests subscribe to a thread?

I don’t know about 1 at all, but guests can certainly subscribe to a thread

I don’t see how. I just tried it on another browser, and I couldn’t find any way to subscribe. I obviously couldn’t post to the thread, and there was no option for subscribing under Thread Tools.

Are you sure? I’m certainly seeing “Subscribe to this Thread” in thread tools.

(At least that works for me. I’m a charter member. I never heard of it being different for guests. Also I’m using the Straight Dope v3.7.3 theme on Firefox. I’ve just tried Sultan’sTheme Responsive and it seems to be the same )

ETA: Ohhhh… or maybe Guest means something different than I thought.
