Type a search term in the address bar, go right to Google's most popular result.

Or so it seems. I’m on Firefox; haven’t checked IE yet.

I was reading electoral-vote.com, and came across the statistical term “least squares linear regression lines” and tried to Google it in my Google bar, but mistakenly c/p’d the phrase into the address bar. Lo, I was taken automatically to the most popular hit if I had done a proper Google search – a site that told me exactly what I wanted to know.

Wow. But really, MPSIMS, that’s all. Perhaps everybody else already knows this.
