So I have a quick question about interaction between the oral vaccine for Typhoid, (live vaccine, in my fridge, 4pills, take on an empty stomach, with a full glass of water, every other day over a week.) and the take home colorectal cancer test (requires 3days no fruit juice, then three samples over three days, mail back to lab.)
I was suffering terrible headaches, then the Dr put me on a new med to try out. For these two reasons I delayed starting the Typhoid vaccine. So all the rest has settled down, but when I was at the office, they gave me a colon test to complete.
My question is; will starting the Typhoid series, screw up the colon test results? I’m running out of days before departure, to do them separately.
I really, don’t want to be still taking the Typhoid only a day or two before getting onto the plane. It’s a longish journey and I really, really don’t want to undertake it feeling crap. Should I be concerned? Or is it no biggy?
