Sometimes we manage to do things right.
I don’t know if Islamics would consider this insulting, but believe me that wasn’t the intent.
At church this morning, at the end of the service, our Pastor made a announcement about the U.S. bombing. He then prayed for both sides, saying that no matter whether or not people accepted our God, nevertheless He made them, and loves them. As God loves all people, so should we.
A number of us, myself and my twelve year old son included, were in tears. I honestly believe we were as worried for the Afghanies as for ourselves. We have all seen the recent pictures of the ordinary people of Afghanistan, and I know my heart goes out to them.
Hmm, I thought I was done with the ramdon crying in my office, but that article moved me to tears. Thanks so much for posting the link to it.

Don’t Christians, Muslims and Jews all worship the same god, but in different ways? IIRC, Jesus is an important prophet in the Koran.
