This should be an easy one for many of you. I have in the dusty recesses of the gray funk inside my head a dim memory of U2 crooning with a choir. Near the end someone with a killer set of pipes (female?) belts out a bit of the chorus. Fantastic tune. But what the hell is it? A lot of U2 sort of runs together to me (hey, I can tell the difference between a pre and post Pigpen Darkstar within a few notes… go easy on me!) so I can’t remember enough of the song to find it with an engine. I have looked at several U2 fan sites, but to no avail Tried searching within each page by ‘choir’ even. With or Without You? Pride? In the Name of Love? Beats me. Please help!
I think they did pick different choirs but the choir recorded for the album is also filmed in the movie … unfortunately I don’t have a VCR but I do own the R&H video (and soundtrack). If you don’t find it soon, rhythm, I can try and get to see the credits and let you know. Better yet, rent the video and you can see the whole choir, the soloists, etc. It’s got a number of good songs.
