OK, I’ll bite anyway. Christ, I can’t believe I’m spending my lunch time finding ugly pictures of the PM.
The previous photo is very flattering since is the first mug you see of her on the official site. You know how it is with better makeup artists and lighting.
Slightly less flattering photos are here, and here. Can’t really find any photos of her during the late 80’s where she was really hedious otherwise the people in the lab will think I have a weird PM fetish.
And that’s not to say that I’m so shallow to think that all national leaders should look like a Swedish bikini model. It was a bit of a national joke for a while when she was elected, but since then she’s listened and responded with more care in her personal PR. And looks aside, she’s been the most down to earth, outdoor’ish PMs we’ve had in a long time.
Unlike Piggy and Big Dave Lange of course. Fine specimens indeed.
