Dream part 2:
I was off the squishy floor. There was a ledge about 1 foot off the floor. I was hanging on by my toes and little loops spaced almost too far apart. It was terribly slow going.
I got to a door, I looked in and saw a wall of cartoon posters and a big TV screen. On the TV was a Disney movie. Mickey Mouse, maybe. There were 2 people holding hands and watching TV.
They ignored me. I crossed in front of the door. And carried on down the ledge. I looked up at the guy at the end, at the desk. He looked up and shook his head. And smiled at me.
People were looking out of their doors.
I woke up…
Whenever I feel that way, I take Viagra.
Peanuts today:
Good grief!
I just had a dope-dream myself. It was nothing spectacular, but in searching these forums I happened upon a post I made… twenty years ago. The poster was using the long-form of my username (what the ASL stands for, as I still use occasionally in other applications). Having no memory of joining these forums in my teens or having means to pay for membership at the time, I nevertheless tried my usual password, and sure enough was able to log in to this long dormant account.
The experience was like the final, lingering shot in The Shining, of the framed photograph showing attendees at the July 4th party at the Overlook Hotel, and seeing a face that looked suspiciously like…
Who?
Look suspiciously like who?
I must know.
