I’d like to think C4 acted with a degree of responsibility over Jade. Lord knows the 30 min show was bad enough but think how she could have been portrayed. Perhaps it’s responsibility or perhaps it’s something more self-serving: I’m not sure if C4 would be able to justify greater ‘exposure’ of a pissed 21 year-old humiliating herself naked – it’s a freak show as it is, that sounds like – potentially - something a little more unsavoury (‘exploitation for ratings’, blah, blah, blah).
I think she’s getting better when sober but I wonder if she still needs protecting from herself when drunk.

FWIW, I’ve been increasingly uninterested in the whole BB thing for a few days now and wonder if I’m tiring of it. It just seems the entire premise is one of ‘lets get the performing seals drunk and watch being silly’.
I think I was more interested when there was a divide because of the promise (then) of social/cultural/tribal discord and/or insights. I’m not finding much at the moment to keep my attention – am I alone ?

Something similar happened in the previous series also. A point is arrived at where the surviving contestants find a modus vivendi, accommodations are reached and a sort of stasis results. This week has been a watershed in that regard and the lack of nominations hasn’t helped.
Unless something particularly fiendish is dreamt up for Saturday’s task, I suspect nothing much is going to happen from here on in.

How badly the producers need that for BB4 is difficult to estimate - I understand the teevee audience is up on last time but they must still be disappointed. I do wonder if Jade was put there for that specific teevee sex ‘job’.

BTW Tim and Jonny yesterday were talking about how the group should refuse to nominate this week for some silly reason or another but since they pussied out of the last “revolution” I don’t think they will go ahead with this one.
yojimbo, I didn’t realise Tim had asked Alex to nominate him, which provides the only point of departure between our nomination predictions. If it pans out that way, it will be a real turn-around for Jade, going from being nominated by everyone to being the only HM not up for eviction.
If Tim legs it prior to eviction, will there be a replacement at this late stage? What’s the schedule from here on in anyway - one out this Friday, one on Friday week, with three going to the final night on 2 August? If it is and Tim is replaced with someone with immunity from the next round of nominations, his replacement would automatically go through to the final night.
