UK Football, How's your team doing?

Bugger the link  Prolly drawn by some suvvern woofter anyways

Ooop norf is ooop norf and the weaselly Midland oiks can stay out, OK?

Gorilla You put work before football?

For shame sir, for shame

Trust me, if I had a choice in the matter…

Drew with Pompey 0-0 which still leaves us 3rd in the Premiership.

Unfortunately the bastard rags won, but Chelski were held to a draw so it aint so bad

Peterborough - 3rd In League 2, or if you prefer joint 2nd with two other teams. MK Dons are 4 points in the clear and then there’re six teams within a point of each other. It’s pretty tight.

I really hope we can go up this year. We’re looking good. If things keep going the way they are though we wont get the opportunity to beat either Millwall or Leeds next year. I was looking forward to that…

Man U are my second team. They’re not doing too bad either… That last minute goal for Arsenal really pissed me off though.

The Glovers (Yeovil Town) are 14th in the Second Division (or League One, whatever the eff that is), which is frankly two divisions higher than they ever got when I lived in Yeovil.

And within spitting distance of the top ten!

Man U are my second team.

So I’m guessing you don’t live in Manchester then, par for the course

“One man went to war… went to war with 'Boro… one man and his baseball bat… went to war with 'Boro”.

Great days - although the Amber Army are having to make do with life in the Blue Square league these days.

Sigh… two games away from the Premiership, and now look where they are.

No… I live in Peterborough. I realise it would have taken a master detective to work that out though, so no worries.

Posh fan by birth, Man U fan by indoctrination (which was, FTR, a long time before the mid/late 90’s. Not that it should matter).

How on earth can you support 2 teams?

I mean for me it’s City, end of, apart from the England team of course.

If City went out of existence I don’t know what I’d do, my life would be a dark and meaningless void :stuck_out_tongue:

Well luckily, or not, they never play each other outside of friendlies, heh. Maybe one day that will change, and I along with it.

If you live somewhere that doesn’t have a Premiership side within 50 miles, I see no problem in supporting your local team and a Premiership team. Having said that, I don’t really support anyone as I haven’t been to a game in years, but I follow Bristol City and Man U (in that order). Both are doing pretty well, let’s hope that last weekend [hides from GorillaMan] was just a blip like Man City’s!

Funny how chowder has never complained about my second-team preference of…Man City
Edit: don’t worry, Dead Cat, it’s just a blip, getting hammered at Portman Road is nothing to be embarassed about this season

Come on ** Gorilla** you know in your heart of hearts that your first team is Manchester City.

Deep honest blue for me

You misspelt “Sky”

A last minute thundering volley from Stephen Ireland ensures that City’s 100% home record remains intact as we beat Reading 2-1.

The icing on the cake?

Rags lost to Bolton 1-0

Bolton Wanderers! Bolton Wanderers FC, they’re the finest team, the world has ever seen!

1st home win over the scum since '78. Well done lads!

We’ve still got one of them, too.

But we weren’t at home today, so naturally we lost. And the yellow scum won.

Not quite the finest team me owd cock :stuck_out_tongue: but well done and thanks, you’ve made an old man very happy

I shall have a couple of extra pints for you tonight and extra curry sauce

Stone me!

We score after just 30 odd seconds and still couldn’t beat the mighty Wigan, ended up 1-1.

I guess 1 pt is better than bugger all tho’

Your 100% has gone for the chop Gorilla
