I’m watching a program on tv called ‘A River Cottage Christmas Feast’. I just saw them make something I’ve never seen or heard of… a Ten bird feast. It’s basically ten birds of decreasing sizes, inside eachother russian doll fashion. Is this a well known thing or a new idea?
Drooooool…
Not new, stuffing variously sized animals into each other is pretty traditional. Sounds tasty tho’.
Cripes…that’s like a Turducken[sup]2[/sup], plus. Gimme.
Lobsang , I saw the same programme and I have to say Hugh’s ten bird roast looked a hell of a lot tastier than the placenta recipe he dished up a few years ago :dubious: . I’m sticking with turkey; if I did the ten bird thing I know that 3 of them would be burnt and the other seven raw.
