Does anyone have any experience with this type of service? If so, what was your experience like? I know Sandals/Beaches resorts offer it, and I’m sure others do as well. We’re thinking of taking a vacation to the Caribbean with our two little ones (2 and 5) and it sounds like a convenient feature if it’s safe, etc.
We have been to Barcelo and Iberostar hotels. While we had no children with us, both hotels seemed to have an awesome crew to take care of little ones. You would see them running all over the place, playing games and, one night, they gave out prizes before the show for the kids. You should have seen the kids go to these people up on stage! It looked like they were all having so much fun!
We’ve done the Disney cruises twice, which isn’t quite what you are looking for - though it is the Carribean. We’ve found it safe and wonderful - the kids really liked it - particularly the first cruise (the second cruise involved the attraction which is Grandma - they spent much less time in the clubs). Note that kids club activities for these don’t tend to be inclusive until 3 or 4 (Disney Cruise is three and potty trained, I think the Barcelos are four).
I stayed for two weeks at the Grand Hyatt Kauai and they treated the kids like gold. Andrew was an infant but Claire had the best time.
