Not that that really matters, as far as Satan’s banning and possible request for reinstatement are concerned. Nobody here is claiming that he was banned unjustly, AFAICT.
Looking at the posts that led to his banning gets you exactly what you’d expect: a poster who, at the time, deserved to be banned. Unless the SD admin really blew the call, that’s what you’d expect to find in going back and perusing the posts leading to any poster’s banning.
The SD administration apparently leaves the door open for banned posters to request reinstatement. I don’t expect, when they consider such requests, that they assume the likely behavior of the banned poster is forever frozen in time at the moment he was banned; otherwise there would be no point in allowing banned posters to apply for reinstatement, ever.
