Underhanded Campaign Ideas

Maybe this belongs in IMHO or MPISMS. I never really know.

Anyway, I was thinking of funny ways someone with a few political dollars could troll the other team (let’s not get hung up on what we personally believe, this is just for fun).

Someone should have thousands of “Trump For The Border” t-shirts printed up and hand them out to the migrants south of the border. It would be fun to watch heads explode.

Owning the libs is like crack cocaine for the MAGAts. Why not have an ad campaign that suggests the evul Demoncrats have rigged the vote process so badly that no one can be sure how their vote will be counted, and in fact they’re vote may get switched from R to D. So, no point in voting and letting the Dems win - just stay home and/or not vote and show them who’s smarter!

Essentially, take the whole voting macine conspiracy theory, amplify it, and shove it down their throats.

The problem with any such scheme, of course, is that they’ll only hear of it if Fox or the other lie machines tell them. Which they would have no reason to.

Lauren Boebert is moving from Colorado Congressional District 3 to District 4. From reports, she’ll face an array of other candidates in the primary that are at least as MAGA-ish as she, so I’m going to guess she’ll lose. Assuming she does lose that primary, start a guerilla write-in campaign for her in the general election for the 3rd District.

Shouldn’t guerilla be pronounced ge-rri-ya? I mean, we don’t say tortilla.

You could bug your own offices and then “discover” them so your opponent looks like he’s engaged in dirty tricks.

Oh wait. That’s been done.

The idea that any campaign shenanigans would be considered ‘Underhanded’ these days is somewhat quaint.

That’s been done.

Allies of President Donald Trump’s efforts to challenge last month’s election urged Republicans in Georgia on Wednesday to stay at home for the Jan. 5 Senate runoff elections, arguing Trump supporters shouldn’t take part in another “rigged election.”

Trump himself urged people to vote while at the same time saying the vote couldn’t be trusted, which was at best a mixed message.

So your scheme has pretty much been proven to work, as both Republicans lost those races.

Exactly. If the Republicans already distrust the election process (and the party and Faux News keep beating that drum), why not leverage that ignorance against them? “The best thing you can do in protesting these sham elections is not vote!”

“Don’t vote! It just encourages them!”

Hmmm…
She’s not moving her residence so she will stay living in Rifle. So she is running for election in District 4 because of Ryan Reynolds and Barbra Streisand.

$500 and $1000 in donations? What a bargain!

Exactly what the kremlin is pushing now, that and “both parties are the same” which is similar.

Some republicans are actually saying that.

I say we should help them spread the message.

Hell, I’ll support the Pubbies boycotting the election even if the America-hating fuckstick is on the ballot.

Biden could say something like: “trump claims that the economy is rebounding because it’s running on his fumes. Yeah, we know all about his fumes”.

There is already a narrative that donald smells bad.

It’s spawned a video

Just today got this missive from the Republican Journal.

Do you suffer from embarrassing gas, stinky farts, or a big bulging belly?

If the answer is “yes”, the cause might surprise you…

Experts are now pointing to a little-known condition…

Called toxic overload.

They’re selling activated charcoal made from coconut shells.
