I currently have a job, but have recently been told I may lose said job any week now. 
This is unfortunate. However, I am expecting the worst and have decided to go back to college for my Master’s this fall whether I lose my job by then or not.
Anyway, if I were to get fired before school begins, could I ride out unemployment benefits until school starts? Or would this negatively affect the FAFSA application I recently submitted (or complicate it)?
The two subjects may be totally unrelated, but I don’t want to sacrifice my eligibility for financial aid due to being temporarily (3 mos or so at most) on unemployment.
Any advice would be much appreciated - as you can tell, I’m painfully uninformed on these matters.
