Unidentified mass in my lung. Sick.

I hope that it turns out that everything is okay for you. I’m sure this is a horrible thing to have to worry about, but since you don’t smoke, the odds are that it’s not cancer. Hope you get some good news soon.

Good luck; I’m thinking positive thoughts for you.

Oh, Bosda.

May health and strength be with you, and may the prayers and hopes of those who care about you ascend to shower upon you like cool rain to enliven and invigorate you.

Keep us updated - we care. You’ll never be alone.

My thought and prayers are with Bosda. I’m so sorry to hear this. But in my opinion: If they suspected it to be cancer, you wouldn’t be waiting for further examination as you do know.
You said you have bronchitis for a very long time. Maybe what shows is the result of this. I had once a result that made a doctor think I was a chain-smoking cheminee who had as result of that only half of his lungs functioning. This while I never touched one sigaret in my life. After further in depth examination it turned out to be an infection and it was cured rather quickly.
I hope for you the same.

Bosda, email me if you want to talk - anytime. I’ll keep checking hotmail regularly - I’ll be here for ya, cyberfriend. Big Hugs, Bosda.

Good luck man. You’ll be OK.

You’ve only got a few days before you’ll have someone who can let you know what’s going on. The worst thing is fear.

Let us know how it goes.

Bosda, I am a World Class Fretter so I understand what you’re going through. You are not alone. You have the Teeming Millions[sup]TM[/sup] (and a few oddballs) in your corner and we’ll be here no matter what.

To reiterate what other posters have said, you do have control. These docs work for you. If you feel like a third world country, find another doc in the HMO that will treat you like the special person that you are.

Please keep us posted. Our prayers are with you.

Get better, Bosda, or I’ll be forced to drive up to the 'Boro and show you my VHS tape of G. G. Allin’s Memphis performance!

(If that doesn’t motivate you into recovery, I don’t know what will!)

You are 100% right Bosda, and I’m glad to hear you say it. So many people assume the worst right off the bat, and put themselves through hell for a stupid benign cyst…

One step at a time does the trick…

Hang in there, Bosda, and you’re welcome…

Looking at GG Allin ever made anybody feel better. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s a tumor.
Don’t know if it’s benign or malignant, yet.

They run a probe down my nose Friday, results Tuesday earliest.

Holy shit. Good luck Bosda, just keep your head up. :frowning:

I am sorry to hear that Bosda. Sending more warm thoughts your way. Again, please keep us updated.

OK: positive vibes from this side of the pond are still winging their way to you.

{hugs}

Hang in there, Bosda. We’re all thinking of you…

Darn, Bosda! ! I’m hoping like heck that it’s benign and they can take care of it quickly. I’m sending good vibes your way and wishing I could do more.

Thanks, Otto, for the BOOP link.

I’m so sorry to hear this Bosda. This is hard for you.
I guess the most difficult for you now is that there is nothing else you can do then wait for further research and its result.

Alde, I’m Not Dead Yet!!

I don’t even know if the tumor is cancerous yet.

So put down that shovel, & quit filling in the hole, I ain’t ready to go yet!

I know that

I shall tell you something else:
A friend of one of my relations was one dark day diagnozed with a very nasty tumor in his lung. He underwent surgery and recovered completely, even in such a way that he went on with his carreer.
Salaam. A
Oh… Almost forgot to tell : He is an opera singer…Don’t know if that rings any bells…

That’s the way, Bosda! Sometimes the best thing is to be a stubborn bastard!

Even if it does turn out to be cancerous, there have been some experimental cancer vaccine trials lately that showed good responses.

Best wishes.
