Yes, people who touch my daughter get a special place on my shit list, but so do people who keep staring at her expectantly after she’s stopped smiling. I’m not going to chew them out or anything, but I’m not apologetic when she begins to cry.
I will cop to toe-touching. Sigh. I have had all my shots, though, and rarely bite. Babies are so luscious, especially since I’m not going to have any more poppin’ outta me.
I try not to mess with non-strangers’ babies either. All too often they’re sticky.
