Oh, Old Granny Hawkins is a tough nut, and I’m sure she ain’t gonna fret over this at all. In fact, I suspect she secretly thrives on the attention.

Screw thread titles. Let’s have a rule about descriptive titles for youtube links.
Try that with the “I saw your” thread. You won’t have a clue. I still don’t.
Where have you been? It’s 2020, the clench is the default condition.
If the Mods prefer to give a broader leeway on the specific forum for the “Mundane and Pointless”, I’m chill with that.
That was a rare outlier and not a thread title issue – it was a completely silly thread that made no sense to me all, but no big deal. But most of her threads have clever teaser titles that lead to stories of amusing domestic incidents – like ecountering Trooper Meanypants twice within days under almost exactly identical conditions!
There’s no shortage of other threads from other posters that could strictly be construed as not really being “informative”:
Too clever for his own good – about an adopted stray dog who turned out to be very smart
Electrical Botaneers Unite… – about getting small amounts of electrical current from an aloe vera plant
No one complained about those.
Report threads whose titles seem ambiguous. Public call outs or Jr Modding is not necessary. If the mods think it’s a problem they’ll act and if enough people think it’s a problem they’ll get the message.
Now can we talk about more descriptive YouTube links?
Rules lawyering and nitpicking over trivial matters gets really annoying. I think people are responding in an “emotive” fashion because they are fucking sick of whiny whiners whining in ATMB because some minor thing on the board isn’t exactly to their liking.
I know exactly what it is about. Maybe its not for ‘you’.
Let’s go down to the quarry and throw stuff in there.
This.
Thank you for calling me a whiny whiner in ATMB, I appreciate it.
Let it go.
Since both forum mods have stated their policy, the poster in question has agreed to make her titles more descriptive, and this thread has now descended into pointless bickering, I think it’s time to close it.
