Universally beloved celebs you just don't care for

Even going back into the early 1980s when he was the top hottie, I never saw the appeal of Mel Gibson. Tom Cruise, same.

Of course, now that they’ve gone wacko and nobody likes them, I feel justified.

Jack Nicholson. I guess he’s to be respected more than liked, though. No one can play crazy assholes better.

I like Bill Cosby because he ain’t that character he plays on TV.

You ain’t that nice, I ain’t that nice. :o

Okay, my mother is that nice.

Oh yeah, definitely Mother Thersa. Shriveled little evil twat hair of a woman.

Oh yeah, and Brad Pitt. I don’t get him, at all. He’s ok looking but christ is he ever irritating. Grrr

I came in just to mention Nicholson. Although my beef is that he can’t play any character except for Jack Nicholson. Yet he has three Oscars, what?

Julia Roberts. Yeah, looks-wise I can see it, although I wouldn’t call her the most gorgeous woman on earth. But besides that, what?

Tom Cruise. Pretty Boy who can marginally act. Never was crazy about him, but I didn’t mind him when he was younger and not whacko. Never did anything for me.

Never mind Jennifer Aniston, what about the rest of the Friends cast? shrug None of them strike me as being incredibly talented.

What he does works for Hollywood, so they honor him.

Thank you! I really thought I was the only one – there is just something about her that drives me totally insane, and for the life of me, I don’t know what.

Methinks the Freudian slip tells a different tail!

Princess Di. Yeah, I know, de mortuis nil nisi bonum and all, but I didn’t think she was beautiful, and she behaved like a vacuous tramp.

Jack Nicholson
Bruce Willis
Sally Field
Jennifer Lopez
Angelina Jolie - don’t kill me

Thank you. I’ve been saying this for years, and generally just getting blank looks for it.
I’ll add Madonna. I always looked at her and thought, "Now there’s a woman in need of a good psychiatrist.

Steve Irwin. I found his persona irritating and thought it wore thin after about five minutes. And of course, since his death, he’s virtually been canonised…greatest husband ever, world’s best father…

Ding ding ding. To the degree that I care, I like Princess Anne better.

There is no celebrity I dislike more than her - except maybe Mel Gibson. I was an original though, I’ve hated him long before his drunken anti-semitic incident.

J. Lo & Beyonce - I dunno, are they universally beloved? I don’t much care for either of them.

Jebus, I can’t stand just about everyone mentioned above – with the exception of Lucille Ball. I actually do love Lucy.

Let me just add Michael Douglas to the list. He could give Bill Cosby lessons on smug.

That reminds me…Catherine Zeta-Jones. She just seems so phony and self-important.

Well, OTOH, neither she nor the hubby are really “universally beloved.”

I’m with y’all on Lucille Ball though.

Mine would have to be Gwyneth Paltrow. Something about her makes me want to smack the smug off her face.

And most of the people already mentioned.

Angela Lansbury. I can’t stand the sound of her voice. It amazes me that she’s famous as both an actress and a singer.
