I know (and believe) for some years the phrase:
“Universe and human stupidity and the only 2 infinite things, and i have doubts about the universe…”
I dont question this - we have examples every day… But who said it first?

I believe it’s attributed to Einstein

It is attributed to Albert Einstein (note, however, that it is unverified). The phrasing given on that page is: “Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I’m not sure about the former.”
