Pretty much anything can fall underneath this heading-I just wanted to note the relative traffic of the 6 main sub-boards since I joined a year ago. IMHO now gets rather fewer posts than GQ & MPSIMS (and CS), while GD & The Pit get more posting traffic than they used to.
I’d say that since I joined (sometime in 2000, I think), there are far fewer sex-related threads, far fewer bodily-function related threads, and generally far more vitriolic political threads.
We have to pay now, but in the Pit we’re allowed to call a troll a troll.
A lot of moderators have come and gone.
In theory, the site is less likely to hang, but in practice, it still hangs pretty often.
Yeah, I lurked since the AOL boards and I gotta say, there are way, way fewer poop threads.
This disturbs me, because I still feel like there are a lot of them today. The old days must have been a nonstop feces-fest!
I guess we “raised the tone” of the board.
Well, when’s the last time we had a great old-fashioned ripsnorter, like pan fried semen or “am I farting holes in my underwear?” Or that guy who fed his sperm to the goldfish. Where are the new classics?
Boy am I sorry I missed those. . .
