It’s fantastic that Cecil is back in the saddle again, and it’s nice to be able to go straight to the latest offering of wisdom to the teeming masses. But is it possible to limit the pinned articles to just the latest? The first article is still pinned, and if this goes on, in a matter of a mere couple of months there will be no room left on the page for all of the other vibrant contributions to the forums.

I had the very same thoughts in the same order.
There are two, each is scheduled to be pinned for 2 weeks.
This is not a problem.
You should be able to unpin the threads for yourself.
Try clicking the pin symbol and that should do it.

For those wondering, you cannot unpin from the latest posts listing on the left panel, but if you go to the pinned post itself, and click the icon, the thumbtack will flip, indicating the new unpinned status and it will no longer be sticky in the side panel.

I wonder if it might not be a good idea to create a ‘Cecil’s Archive’ forum, and after the posts are unpinned move them there? Then we and the wider public would have a place to browse the commentary and find links to the columns without having to dig for them through other fora?
All the Columns are and will be in one forum.
See how fast I can get results when something I suggest already exists and I didn’t bother to look?

It’s only been there for 20+ years! Easy to miss. 
This should make poster @John_W.Kennedy happy. He posted exclusively there until the column was cancelled. I hope he doesn’t give up on the rest of us now that new stuff will show up there.
