Unusual/unique FPS weapons?

South Park was an FPS in the late 90s. It included a gun that fired plungers; an alien ray that made someone dance if you shot them; a sniper rifle-like chicken that shoots eggs at people; a “warpo ray” that either shoots piranhas, turns people into animals, or shrinks them; and a cow launcher that can drop a cow on someone.

Yeah. I got that and, after the first fight, put it in a display case in my settlement because between the normally anemic range of a Fat Man, the further-reduced range of the MIRV modification, and the fact that some of the spawned “multiple” warheads come back toward you after deploying*… guarantees you’ll eat detonation from two mini nukes.

*The deployment pattern of the MIRV mod is that the (normally single) mini nuke launched from the Fat Man arcs away to the top of the trajectory, and then splits, shooting spawned mini nukes in a line along its trajectory. That means the frontmost spawned nuke travels farther away, but the nearmost spawned nuke gets a generous nudge back along the line of its trajectory… back towards the shooter

Ow. Ow.

It’s not a modification, but there* is *an Experimental MIRV in Fallout 3. It fired 8 mini nukes at once, all but one of which landed closer to you than the standard mini-nuke does. Very dangerous to use.

Baby Nukem from a UT99 mod was a child’s doll with a nuke hidden inside. Just let it loose to bounce around in an enemy base, and BOOM…
