Posting in GD as there has been much debate about this in the past. There is some Outrageous Game Show Moments show on NBC right now, and they are indicating they will show the “Up the butt, Bob” clip. Just thought someone should know.
Just FTR:
According to Snopes, the words “up the butt, Bob” do not actually appear in the episode in question. The actual exchange went more like this:
Olga: “I’m trying to think. Umm . . .” [Turns to husband.] “Gee Henry, what did you say?”
Bob Eubanks: “Hey, don’t ask him. He can’t help you out at all.”
Olga: “Is it in the ass?” [Last three words bleeped]
Bob Eubanks: “No no no . . . no . . . what I’m talking about is the weirdest location, the weirdest place . . .”
Olga: “The weirdest location. I don’t know.” [Laughs]
Yeah, it was definately something like “Is it in the ass?” There was no “Bob”
We taped it and played it back tonight.
Olga said, …
“In the asshole.”
Actually, it was in the back seat of a Volkswagen.
And her husband said “On the freeway.”
I imagine that somewhere, tonight, Olga Whateverhernameis is completely overwhelmed, now that this has finally aired. Her blunder was previous unknown to anyone who wasn’t there or who she hadn’t told herself. Now she has finally been unmasked to all of America as the woman who notoriously admitted on The Newlywed Game that she enjoyed anal sex.
If I were Olga, I’d be looking to move and change my name.
I wonder if Snopes changed its listing.

To what? Why would it need changed?
Good point. It’s been a while since I read their take on it.
Oh, and as a weird aside, the “Up the butt, Bob” comment was what originally brought me to the SDMB.

Has anyone pointed out that Up The Butt, Bob would be a great band name?
Yeah. But everytime I tried to go hear that band, the venue said they didn’t exist.
Tracer: And the unwarranted Kevin Smith Prize goes to you for your Mallrats running gag reference.
Did she ever admit enjoying it or only that she had tried it? I imagine admitting experimentation is far less embarrassing for her than admitting she does it often (and even that is only embarrassing if she is ashamed of it).
… And they would have to be great from day one, otherwise they’d just be another shitty band.
