What is a good up to date pc game that is the same style/type of game as wargasm but with much improved graphics?
Or to put it another way. Can you reccomend a good realistic war simulation game mainly involving tanks, and with vast environments.

You must check out the screenshots because you demanded good graphics. DID YOU SAY VAST ENVIRONMENTS? --that is what this game is known for–
How about historical accuracy and depth, playability, and replay value as well? (you will never get sick of playing online)… This epic won tons of awards and has pretty much been canonized (if I may) amongst the PC gaming community.
Don’t let the screenshots fool you, you can spend all your time in tanks if that is all you really want to do.
I don’t play a lot of games but I do love them and this one blew me away.

Operation: Flashpoint.
It’s been out for a few years, so you should be able to get it on the cheap. It tends to degenerate into a snipe’fest if you’re on foot, but the tanks are good.
