I’m a college student working on a Social Science degree from Oklahoma State University (I think I’ve mentioned that a few times in the past). One of my classes the semester is Adulthood: The Middle Years (BTW, the class makes me feel old!), and I have an interview project to do.
I need four people between the ages of 40 and 55, two males and two females, to answer nineteen questions from which I must make a formal presentation. The thing is, most of my friends nearby are younger than I am and I just don’t know 4 people IRL who I think I could get interesting and diverse interviews from and I want to show those bright eyed-fresh out of high school-kids that life doesn’t end at 40.
Volunteers will be emailed the questions. I will use first names only unless you’re not okay with that and I can change the names at your request. My presentation is March 29th, but I want plenty of time to do my write ups, of which I can send you copy if you like.
And in this corner, wearing the bemused grin and the tie today, a 51-year-old male, happy to help if you still need respondants. (My wife is finishing up her Ph.D. and I know from shared experience how difficult it can be to find qualified subjects)
If you wouldn’t mind random people, use my mom. She’s really cool! (I know, I sound so dumb, but I do love my mom and it might make her happy, or at least smile.)
I’m e-mailing you her addy and I’ll give her a heads up that you might write her.
Sounds fun, so, if you still need participants, I’m a 40 year old female, and I’m in the midst of a career change (just in case revealing my my psuedo-interesting life process tips the balance and gets me an interview)!
