Previous thread on the story of Nai Yin Xue, who abandoned his three year old daughter Qian Xun (tagged “Pumpkin” by the media) at a Melbourne station in September 2007, having fled New Zealand after the alleged murder of his wife An An Liu.

Well, he’s just been convicted of murder in the High Court in Auckland.

Thanks for the update. I was afraid he was going to get away with it. It’s good to know there’s a little bit of justice in this crazy, mixed-up world.

Wow, that was quick. I was expecting the trial to last for weeks, but I guess it must have been a pretty straightforward case
